Possible Christmas Card!
So Daryl's sister, Denice, came over after church today and thought it would be a great idea to take our picture in front of the Christmas tree. Such a great idea! I never think to take pictures so when other people do and I'm actually in it holding my children it is always appreciated.

Halloween Party at the Kimbles
Well we had our party that we look forward to all year long. Halloween! Costumes, pinatas, jack o lanterns, games, and family, you just can't ask for anything more. In fact this year we won the jack o lantern contest.
Daryl was Lucifer, Isaiah was Zorro, Ilaina was a witch, and I was a pink lady.
It really was a great time and after the party there was a party at Auntie Donna's house with Erica, Peyton, and Andrew. They watched a halloween movie, had a pillow fight and played with play dough.

Autumn with a Burnt Hand!
On Saturday I was busy finishing Ilaina's Halloween costume and I heard crying, my heart sank, it was a hurt cry. Laina had burnt her hand on the fireplace. Now she has a wrap on her hand so she doesn't break the blisters. Definitely not going to get a mother of the year award now. Her uncle Ryan calls it her giant Q Tip for her daddy's ears.
She is doing great now! She was crawling all around just 8 hours after it happened. Children are so resilient.
We have had so much fun outside this fall. The grass hasn't been growing so we have way more time for fun!

Halloweeny!
Well I have finally got around to decorating for Halloween. Isaiah was thrilled with all the ghost clings and jack o lanterns around the house, oh and I forgot to mention the spiders that are now in every room as well. Halloween always is exciting not just because we get to dress up and eat candy but it marks the beginning of the holidays in the Fish home. Decorations for Halloween, Fall, Christmas, then Easter. The house always seems a little bare without a seasoned decoration. Hot Apple Cider, Apple pies, Apple crisp, Apple tort, Apple Apple Apple. Wow I never realized I like Apple so much! Fall is great and I'm glad its here.

Ear Piercing!
Well I made the tough decision to pierce Ilaina's ears on Friday. I actually chickened out the first time and had to leave. An hour later I worked up enough courage to finally go back and get it done. I asked Ilaina's Auntie Denice to hold her and I would hold her arms and try to distract her. After in the seat Auntie couldn't do it either so mommy had to sit back down and hold her little baby. Well after it was all said and done it was no worse then her vaccinations and now she can look as beautiful as her honorary cousin Ella. We were also able to show off her new earrings when we were at a family wedding.
Isaiah took a break from turning the lights on and off, on and off, on and off to cut a rug. It was a good time
Play Ground? Play Park?
On Wednesday we got our swing set all set up and Isaiah just screamed with delight. Mommy Ilaina, Isaiah, Daddy, and Belle all fit on the lower level. We had a great time swinging and Isaiah kept saying "High Again"!
Ilaina doesn't quite like the swing yet but that is just as well for we only ordered one infant swing. We haven't had any playmates come over yet but we are hoping that cousin Lydia will come soon.

Splish splash!
This is the first time there has been a shared bath! They both had a great time. Isaiah was trying to help wash Ilaina's hair and everything he did she thought was hilarious. Her huge front teeth were showing the whole time, which means that she was having a blast.
Isaiah loves to be the comedic relief. Whether mommy's had an emotional day or daddy's frustrated about something he always manages to make us smile. What a blessing these two children have been to us. I have known no greater gift then my children.

Steam Engines Aren't Just For Trains!
August 2nd and 3rd we went to the Roosevelt Steam and Gas show and had a great time looking at all the tractors. And Riding the tractors!
Then we heard a choo choo train... but it was really a tractor. That was confusing for Isaiah and mommy. Oh and Isaiah had his first hotdog on a bun. Not a single piece was dropped. Maybe next summer he can have another one. (yuk)
